Social Media Guidelines for So-Called Vajrayana Practitioners

This letter given by Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche in Jan 18, 2013 on facebook is an evergreen in my eyes. Especially for a pan buddhist forum this might be interesting. So it might be easier to understand what makes Vajrayana practicioners tick and how about their Does and Don'ts in talking about their own practice.

For me these guidelines are a good reminder always. It means, I'm not here to talk about certain details of my personal practice and also not to compare my path with other paths - whatever the purpose of this forum is and however other people are free to do as they desire, I shouldn't do it.

But I can talk about the relation of practice to day to day life. I find those discussions very helpful sometimes.

Lhamo,

Great advice for any of us! :anjali:
To avoid all evil, to cultivate good, and to cleanse one's mind — this is the teaching of the Buddhas.
