Welcome to Dharma Paths!

Postby David N. Snyder » Mon Jun 13, 2016 8:28 pm

Dharma Paths started as a practice based community where members posted about their practice, shared experiences and used their real names. The forum was kept private and off the radar and posts were only visible to logged-in members. It was a great idea, but due to the private nature of the forum, it did not grow and eventually faded away into oblivion. This is the rebirth of Dharma Paths, now visible to all including google searches. It is a pan-Dharma forum, encompassing all Dharmic and contemplative traditions. User names are allowed for those who want to keep their anonymity and debates are allowed.

This forum is affiliated with dhammawheel.com and dharmawheel.net however unlike the two DWs, here one can engage in comparative religion discussions and debates.

Good to see.

I am trying a different user-name to reflect my Irish roots, people on Dhamma Wheel might know me as that possibly imaginary giant hedgehog.

Rick O'Shez is of course the famous Irishman who bounces off walls. :D

I've kept my username from Dhamma Wheel since I'm not sure how I'll fare im mixed company. Thanks again to David for rebooting this forum! :anjali:

Checking in!

I found e-sangha extremely useful when I first became interested in Buddhism back in 2007 but had no idea which tradition to choose. Hopefully this site can be useful to newcomers in the same way.

Got pretty interested on this place, so I created my account.
It seems to be a pretty fascinating place.
