Yes, I think so. There are some forms of Buddhism that are very similar to Hinduism, for example Tantric Buddhism and some other forms of Mahayana Buddhism. Hinduism comes in many different varieties, so I suppose it might make a difference as to which tradition from Hinduism you are referring to.

id like to learn more about this and more about hinduism and buddhism am fairly new to both but am starting to understand more now

no,anatta,patityasamutpada,nirvana as cessation,no essence doctrine,sunyata are all against fundemental doctrines.

tantrik baudha is borrowed from saiva dharma,but the doctrine is different.

Whist some regard them as separate, some Hindus I have met regard Buddhism and Buddha as part of the a broad Hinduism, which is in any case very hard to tie down. I recall Jains also being pretty annoyed at (BJP?) attempts to include them officially as Hindu.
