pdf attachments?

Post by Nicholas » Sat Dec 24, 2016 2:48 pm

Is it possible to put a pdf into a post, if so, how?

Click post reply, then attachments below the text box you write your reply, then click add files, open, then place inline. Make sure it is not copyrighted material or not too large a file, there might be limits on the size.

How unmindful is Nicholas! All one has to do is scroll down screen a bit.

Many thanks David!

Was too hasty - it does not work. None of my pdfs, when clicked on become 'live'. So neither dragging & dropping nor picking one to insert function.

I will try other non-pdf attachments... Nope, the Choose button never lights up for ODT or any other kind of file.

I am using Safari. I will try Chrome now... which does work for some, but I give up trying to convert a site document to PDF, even in Chrome it will not work. So the article on the Meno will have ads and clutter about it.

Yes, I think so - see my Platonic Traditions thread.
